This is not based on sign ownership or strength—it’s purely based on planetary longitude in the Rashi (D1) chart.

What Is Darakaraka?

The Darakaraka is the planet holding the lowest degree in your chart (also excluding Rahu and Ketu). It reflects the partner you attract, relationship challenges, and themes around emotional connection and union.

This is especially relevant when analyzing marriage, long-term relationships, and the emotional patterns that repeat in partnerships.

How the Calculator Works

This tool analyzes your D1 (Rashi) chart and identifies:

  • Your Atmakaraka – the planet with the highest degree (excluding Rahu/Ketu)

  • Your Darakaraka – the planet with the lowest degree (excluding Rahu/Ketu)

  • Their zodiac signs and relative importance

It follows Jaimini Karaka rules, using only the seven visible planets (Sun through Saturn). Rahu and Ketu are not used in this calculation.
