What Rahu in Gemini means
Gemini belongs to Mercury, Rahu's friend in the usual lists, and some texts place Rahu's exaltation here. Rahu is comfortable in this quick, clever sign. For about a year and a half it amplifies communication, trade, technology, media and the appetite for information. Cleverness increases, and so does the temptation to deceive.
Ketu stands in Sagittarius, the sign of dharma and the guru. Rahu fills the mind with data and Ketu empties it of faith. The person may doubt old teachers and follow new voices that speak well and know little. The work of the axis is to test every claim against a text and a teacher of proven worth.
Rahu enters Gemini at Punarvasu, since it moves backward, and leaves from Mrigashira. Punarvasu, ruled by Jupiter, opens the transit on sound ground.
