What Rahu in Aquarius means
Aquarius is the sign many texts give as Rahu's own, and its lord Saturn is Rahu's friend in the usual lists. For about a year and a half it amplifies groups, technology, ideology, mass movements, gains through networks and the dream of a different society.
Ketu stands in Leo, the sign of the individual and the throne. Rahu belongs to the crowd and Ketu withdraws from personal glory. The person may lose interest in their own name and give themselves to a cause. Done with discernment this is service, and done blindly it is surrender of judgement to a group.
The nakshatras are Dhanishta, Shatabhisha and Purva Bhadrapada. Rahu moves backward, so Purva Bhadrapada, ruled by Jupiter, opens the stay with intensity and a turn toward austerity. Shatabhisha is Rahu's own nakshatra, and its third is the peak of the transit, with research and unconventional thought amplified. Dhanishta, ruled by Mars, closes the stay with wealth and ambition.
Rahu's favourable transit houses, the third, sixth and eleventh from the Moon, fall to Sagittarius, Virgo and Aries Moon signs. Aquarius Moons carry a strong Rahu in the first house and feel driven, original and unsettled.
