What Rahu in Scorpio means
Scorpio is the sign most texts give as Rahu's fall, and its lord Mars is Rahu's enemy in the usual lists. Its weakness here shows as fear. For about a year and a half it amplifies the sign's hidden themes. Secrets, obsession, the occult, addiction, joint money, inheritance and the dread of loss all swell.
Ketu stands in Taurus, the sign of its own fall, so both nodes are debilitated at once. Rahu digs into what is buried and Ketu loses interest in comfort, food and possessions. The person may feel that nothing is solid. That feeling is the transit's teaching, and it passes.
The nakshatras are Vishakha, Anuradha and Jyeshtha. Rahu moves backward, so Jyeshtha, ruled by Mercury, opens the stay with power struggles and the temptation to control. Anuradha, ruled by Saturn, is the steadiest third and lends Rahu discipline. Vishakha's fourth pada closes the stay with ambition turned to a purpose.
Rahu's favourable transit houses, the third, sixth and eleventh from the Moon, fall to Virgo, Gemini and Capricorn Moon signs. Meditation, a plain diet and complete honesty about money carry a person through this stay.
The transit shows what one fears most. Rahu in Scorpio brings the fear up to be seen, and seen clearly it shrinks. Intoxicants, secret dealings and money shared without a contract are the outer risks.
