What Ketu in Aries means
Aries belongs to Mars, and Ketu behaves like Mars, as Kujavat Ketu says. Ketu is at ease in this direct sign. For about a year and a half it works on self, body, initiative and identity, and it works by subtraction. What was held for the sake of ego is loosened.
Rahu stands in Libra, pulling attention toward partners, the public and approval. Ketu in Aries removes interest in one's own image. The person may feel invisible, or free of the need to be seen. Both are the same thing viewed from two sides.
The nakshatras are Ashwini, Bharani and Krittika, and Ketu crosses them backward. Krittika, the Sun's nakshatra, opens the transit with a sharp cut between what serves and what does not. Bharani, ruled by Venus, is the middle third, where desire is met and released. Ashwini is Ketu's own nakshatra, and its third closes the stay at full strength, with healing and sudden insight.
Ketu's favourable transit houses follow Mars's, the third, sixth and eleventh from the Moon, which fall to Aquarius, Scorpio and Gemini Moon signs. Aries Moons carry Ketu in the first house and feel detached from body and ambition, with accidents as the outer risk. Libra Moons have Rahu in the first and Ketu in the seventh, where a partner grows distant. Virgo Moons meet Ketu in the eighth and Taurus Moons in the twelfth, and the lagna is read the same way.

The remedy is Ganesha, the deity for Ketu, and the mantra Om Kem Ketave Namah. Parashara's graha shanti gives Ketu dana; a blanket, sesame or food for dogs on Tuesday is the traditional form. Keep the body active and the head cool.
