What Ketu in Taurus means
Taurus is the sign most texts give as Ketu's fall, and its lord Venus does not favour Ketu's austerity. Its weakness here shows as a loss of appetite for the things Taurus loves. For about a year and a half comfort, food, wealth, speech and possessions lose their savour. What was held for pleasure is loosened.
Rahu stands in Scorpio, its own sign of fall, so both nodes are debilitated together. Rahu drives the mind into secrets and fears, and Ketu withdraws from the comforts that would steady it. The person may feel that nothing tastes right. The feeling passes when the mind stops looking outside for its ground.
The nakshatras are Krittika, Rohini and Mrigashira. Ketu moves backward, so Mrigashira, ruled by Mars, opens the stay with a search that turns inward. Rohini, ruled by the Moon, is the middle third and the hardest for Ketu, since Rohini wants growth and Ketu wants release. Krittika, the Sun's nakshatra, closes the transit with a plain cut.
Ketu's favourable transit houses, the third, sixth and eleventh from the Moon, fall to Pisces, Sagittarius and Cancer Moon signs.
