What Saturn in Aries means
Aries is the sign of Saturn's fall. Parashara places the deepest point of debility at the twentieth degree, and the sign lord Mars counts Saturn as an enemy. Saturn asks for patience, order and slow work.
Aries asks for speed and a quick result. The transit holds these two demands together for about two and a half years, and a retrograde often splits the stay into visits. Of the nakshatras Ashwini, Bharani and Krittika, Bharani, ruled by Venus, is the easiest stretch and Krittika, ruled by the Sun, the hardest.
Aries governs the head, stamina, the urge to start things and self-assertion, and each of these feels the transit. Delays land on new projects, and anger rises faster and costs more. A person who holds Saturn well moves at a measured pace and finishes what was started. Pushing harder when blocked is the wrong response to a debilitated Saturn.
