Ketu Transit in Pisces

Pisces belongs to Jupiter, and Ketu is the karaka of moksha, so the sign and the graha agree. For about a year and a half it works on faith, compassion, dreams, sleep, foreign lands, isolation and release, and it works by subtraction. Attachment to the world itself is loosened.

Rahu stands in Virgo, driving the person toward work, health, detail and control. Ketu in Pisces withdraws from all of it toward silence and the formless. The person may feel that ordinary life has grown thin. That thinness is an opening, best met with a practice.

The nakshatras are Purva Bhadrapada, Uttara Bhadrapada and Revati. Ketu moves backward, so Revati, ruled by Mercury, opens the stay with endings, safe passage and the settling of a cycle. Uttara Bhadrapada, ruled by Saturn, is the middle third and the deepest, where Ketu's release joins Saturn's patience in long sadhana. The last pada of Purva Bhadrapada closes the transit with austerity.

Capricorn, Libra and Taurus Moon signs receive Ketu in the third, sixth and eleventh, the houses Phaladeepika counts as favourable. Pisces Moons carry Ketu in the first house and feel detached, dreamy and drawn to retreat. Virgo Moons have Rahu in the first and Ketu in the seventh, where partnership carries anxiety and absence. Leo Moons meet Ketu in the eighth and Aries Moons in the twelfth, and the lagna is counted the same way.
