Mercury Transit in Pisces

Pisces belongs to Jupiter, whom Mercury counts neutral, and Budha is debilitated here, most deeply at fifteen degrees. The stay lasts about eighteen days, and the watery sign blurs the precision Mercury needs.

Pisces governs the feet, sleep, imagination and release. A debilitated Mercury clouds detail and blurs instruction. Messages are misread and appointments slip. Imagination, poetry and devotional writing all run strong.

The nakshatras are Purva Bhadrapada, Uttara Bhadrapada and Revati. Purva Bhadrapada, under Jupiter, opens with severity of thought, and Uttara Bhadrapada, under Saturn, is the quietest stretch and steadies the mind. Revati is Mercury's own nakshatra, and the closing days bring completion and safe arrival.

Classical gochara counts Mercury well in the second, fourth, sixth, eighth, tenth and eleventh from the natal Moon: Aquarius, Sagittarius, Libra, Leo, Gemini and Taurus Moons. Pisces Moons hold it in the first, and Aries Moons carry it in the twelfth, where confusion runs highest.

A debilitated Mercury shows how much a person relies on being understood. Writing the matter down settles most confusion within a day.

Confirm every arrangement in writing.

• Recite Om Bram Breem Braum Sah Budhaya Namah on Wednesday.
• Confirm arrangements in writing through the whole stay.
• Give the confusion to devotional practice during Uttara Bhadrapada.
