Pisces belongs to Jupiter, whom Venus counts neutral, and Shukra is exalted here, most deeply at twenty-seven degrees. The stay lasts about twenty-five days, and Parashara gives Venus no stronger seat in the zodiac.

Pisces governs the feet, sleep, imagination and release. An exalted Venus opens the heart without asking for return, and devotion, art and music all run at their finest. Boundaries in relationships soften and can disappear.

The nakshatras are Purva Bhadrapada, Uttara Bhadrapada and Revati. Purva Bhadrapada, under Jupiter, opens with severity and tapas. Uttara Bhadrapada, under Saturn, is the deepest and quietest stretch, and Revati, under Mercury, closes the stay with completion and safe arrival.

Classical gochara counts Venus difficult only in the sixth, seventh and tenth from the natal Moon. Libra, Virgo and Gemini Moons carry it in those houses through this stay. The other nine receive it well, and Pisces Moons hold it in the first, the sweetest position of their year.
