Venus Transit in Cancer

Cancer belongs to the Moon, whom Venus counts an enemy, and Shukra passes through in about twenty-five days. Feeling and desire mix here, and attachment deepens quickly during the stay.

Cancer governs the chest, the mother, the home and emotional memory. Venus in this sign turns pleasure toward the household. Spending goes on the home and on family, and old attachments return and ask for attention.

The nakshatras are Punarvasu, Pushya and Ashlesha. Punarvasu, under Jupiter, opens with return and repair, Pushya, under Saturn, is the most nourishing stretch and suits family gatherings and feeding others, and Ashlesha, under Mercury, closes with matters that need care in what is said.
