Ketu Transit in Rohini

Rohini lies in Taurus and belongs to the Moon. Brahma, as Prajapati, is its deity, and a cart or chariot its symbol. Mars counts the Moon a friend and Ketu follows Mars in its friendships, so the graha sits comfortably under the lord of the star. Venus owns the sign and is neutral.

Ketu enters at the fourth pada and moves backward to the first over around seven months, and a direct spell of the true node can split the stay in two. Growth, beauty, crops, cattle, wealth, fertility and the pleasure of a full house are Rohini's themes.

Ketu subtracts from the very things Rohini multiplies. Appetite for comfort fades. Wealth may be given away or lost, and the person is surprised to mind less than expected. The chariot stops, and what it carried is looked at for the first time.

The remedy is Ganesha, a moment each evening before the Moon, and Om Kem Ketave Namah. Give a blanket, sesame or food for dogs on Tuesday. Feed a cow if one is near, and keep the house simple for the length of the stay.
