What Ketu in Rohini nakshatra means
Rohini lies in Taurus and belongs to the Moon. Brahma, as Prajapati, is its deity, and a cart or chariot is its symbol. The Moon is Mars's friend, and Ketu follows Mars in its friendships, so the lord of the star receives the graha kindly. Venus owns the sign and is neutral.
Ketu enters at the fourth pada and moves backward to the first over around seven months. A direct spell of the true node can split the stay in two. Rohini's themes are growth, beauty, crops, cattle, wealth, fertility and the pleasure of a full house.
Ketu here works by subtraction on the very things Rohini multiplies. Appetite for comfort fades. Wealth may be given away or lost, and the person is surprised to find they mind less than expected. The chariot stops, and what was carried in it is looked at for the first time.
Rahu stands in Jyeshtha for the first half of the stay and in Anuradha for the second. The axis runs between the full house and the hidden one.
Pisces, Sagittarius and Cancer Moons receive Ketu in the third, sixth and eleventh, the houses Phaladeepika gives to Saturn and to the nodes. Taurus Moons carry Ketu on the lagna and Rahu in the seventh, and the face, the throat and the sense of security are touched. Scorpio Moons have Rahu on the lagna and Ketu in the seventh. Gemini Moons hold Ketu in the twelfth and Libra Moons in the eighth, and the lagna is read the same way.
What is shown is one's relationship with abundance. The remedy is Ganesha, a moment each evening before the Moon, and Om Kem Ketave Namah. The dana is a blanket, sesame or food for dogs on Tuesday. Feed a cow if one is near, and keep the house simple for the length of the stay.
