Mars Transit in Swati

Swati is Rahu's nakshatra, with Vayu as its deity and a young shoot in the wind as its symbol. It lies in Libra, the sign of Venus. Rahu counts as hostile to Mars in the usual lists, Venus is neutral, and the wind god adds instability. Mars is unsettled here.

The stay is just under three weeks. Independence, trade, movement, diplomacy and the ability to bend without breaking are the themes, and Mars brings force into a field that works by flexibility. Business travel, negotiation under pressure and sudden changes of direction are typical.

The kidneys and the lower back are Libra's body areas, and Vayu brings gas, restlessness and disturbed sleep. Accidents in high wind and from vehicles are the classical warnings. Anger comes and goes fast here. Words spoken in it travel far.

Leo, Taurus and Sagittarius Moons and lagnas have Mars in the third, sixth and eleventh and gain in trade and competition. Libra Moons carry the graha on the self and feel scattered. Cancer, Aries and Pisces Moons, with Mars in the fourth, seventh and eighth, should take care with the home and the partner.

Swati asks a person to hold a direction while conditions change. Its shoot survives by yielding, and Mars tests whether the person can yield without losing purpose, and the restlessness is easy to watch now, which is the use of the period.

Pray to Vayu through Hanuman, his son, on Tuesday. Japa of Om Angarakaya Namah and the dana of red lentils or copper complete the remedy. Pranayama suits this nakshatra, and a fixed sitting time steadies the mind.
