What Moon in Swati nakshatra means
Venus's sign Libra holds Swati at its centre, and the Moon is neutral and at ease in the sign. Rahu rules the nakshatra, Vayu is its deity, and its symbol is a young shoot bending in the wind. Rahu has no place in Parashara's table of friendship, and the Moon in Rahu's nakshatras is unsettled. Vayu gives movement, independence and a scattered attention.
Muhurta Chintamani places Swati among the chara nakshatras, movable. Trade, negotiation and any work that lives by motion suit the day: travel, vehicles, the buying of a conveyance, gardening. A foundation, a marriage or a long commitment is better placed on a dhruva day. The Moon spends about a day here, and the mind is light, curious and hard to pin down.
From the birth nakshatra, Swati is sampat for Mrigashira, Chitra and Dhanishta, and kshema for Krittika, Uttara Phalguni and Uttara Ashadha. Sadhana falls to Ashwini, Magha and Mula, mitra to Pushya, Anuradha and Uttara Bhadrapada, and parama mitra to Punarvasu, Vishakha and Purva Bhadrapada.
Rohini, Hasta and Shravana have vipat. Bharani, Purva Phalguni and Purva Ashadha have pratyak. Ashlesha, Jyeshtha and Revati have naidhana and should keep to routine. Ardra, Swati and Shatabhisha births meet their janma tara.
Under this Moon a person can watch how the mind moves when nothing holds it. Vayu is prana, and the breath and the thought move together. Pranayama at a fixed hour and a walk without a phone suit the day. Give white cloth on Monday and keep the Moon's japa to a count, since a counted japa steadies a wandering day.
