Ketu Transit in Swati

Swati is Rahu's own nakshatra in Libra, with Vayu as its deity and a young shoot in the wind as its symbol, so here Ketu stands on its counterpart's ground, the other end of its own axis. Venus owns the sign and is neutral toward Mars, whose nature Ketu takes.

Around seven months pass in the stay, backward from the fourth pada to the first, and the true node's direct spells sometimes split it into two visits. Rahu stands in Bharani for the first half and in Ashwini, Ketu's own star, for the second.

Swati scatters and carries, with independence, trade, movement, diplomacy and the wind as its themes. Under Ketu the wind drops. A wish to be free of every tie may be granted, and the freedom is quieter than expected. Trade loses its pull, travel happens without the wish for it, and independence turns into solitude.

Leo, Taurus and Sagittarius Moons receive Ketu in the third, sixth and eleventh, the houses Phaladeepika names favourable. Libra Moons carry Ketu on the lagna and Rahu on the partner, and the kidneys, the skin and the marriage need care.
