Rahu Transit in Swati

Swati is Rahu's own nakshatra, in Libra, with Vayu as its deity and a young shoot bending in the wind as its symbol. Venus owns the sign and is Rahu's friend in the usual lists. Rahu is at home twice over here, and acts without resistance.

Around seven months pass in the stay, backward from the fourth pada to the first, and it splits into two visits when the true node runs direct for some weeks. Independence, trade, movement, diplomacy, the wind, and everything that scatters and carries are Swati's themes.

In its own star Rahu amplifies freely. Trade with foreign places grows and travel increases, and a person may leave a fixed position for something looser and larger.
