Mercury Transit in Mrigashira

The deer's head is the symbol of Mrigashira, and Soma, the Moon as nectar, is its deity. Mars rules it, and Mercury is neutral toward Mars. The nakshatra sits across two signs, with its first two padas in Taurus, a friend's sign, and its last two in Gemini, Mercury's own, so the graha grows stronger as it crosses.
