Jupiter Transit in Mrigashira

Mrigashira is the deer's head, ruled by Mars and presided over by Soma. Two padas lie in Taurus and two in Gemini. Mars is Jupiter's friend, so the lord welcomes the graha, and both sign lords, Venus and Mercury, are Jupiter's enemies, which leaves the nakshatra lord as the only friend Jupiter meets here.

A visit runs a little under three months. Soma is the Moon's nectar, and Mrigashira is the search for it. Jupiter looks for a teacher, a text, a truth, and finds pieces of it in many places. Travel for study is common. Children grow restless and curious, and their education changes course.

The quality of a person's seeking comes into view. Restlessness under this transit is a sign that the mind wants a guru and has yet to find one.
