Moon Transit in Libra

Libra belongs to Venus, whom the Moon counts neutral, and Chandra passes through in about two to three days. The sign is airy and movable, which suits the Moon's nature, and attention turns toward other people.

Libra governs the waist, the kidneys, partnership and trade. The Moon here softens the mind toward agreement, so meetings, negotiation and social work all go well. A wish to please can override a person's own judgement.

The nakshatras are Chitra, Swati and Vishakha. Chitra, under Mars, opens with the wish to be seen and to make something fine. Swati, under Rahu, is the most independent stretch and suits trade and movement. Vishakha, under Jupiter, closes with fixed purpose.

Gochara counts the Moon well in the first, third, sixth, seventh, tenth and eleventh from the natal Moon, which here means Libra, Leo, Taurus, Aries, Capricorn and Sagittarius Moons. Pisces Moons meet Chandrashtama and do well to keep the day light. Scorpio Moons carry it in the twelfth, where rest is needed.

The passage shows how much of a person's peace depends on being liked. Agreeing just to avoid friction leaves an unease that lasts after the passage, so say one honest thing kindly. Drink enough water and guard the lower back.

• Hold meetings and settle agreements during these two days.
• Say one true thing that has been softened too long.
• Offer white sweets or flowers on Monday within the passage.
