Moon Transit in Sagittarius

Sagittarius belongs to Jupiter, whom the Moon counts neutral, and Chandra recovers here after the Scorpio passage. The stay lasts about two to three days, and the mind lifts and looks ahead.

Sagittarius governs the thighs, dharma, teaching and long travel. The Moon here turns feeling toward meaning. Optimism runs high and can outrun the facts. Teaching, study and pilgrimage all suit the passage.

The nakshatras are Mula, Purva Ashadha and Uttara Ashadha. Mula, under Ketu, opens by pulling at roots and suits endings that are due. Purva Ashadha, under Venus, brings conviction and the wish to persuade, and Uttara Ashadha, under the Sun, closes with results that last.

Gochara counts the Moon well in the first, third, sixth, seventh, tenth and eleventh from the natal Moon, which here means Sagittarius, Libra, Cancer, Gemini, Pisces and Aquarius Moons. Taurus Moons meet Chandrashtama and do well to postpone anything heavy. Capricorn Moons carry it in the twelfth, where expense rises.

The passage shows what a person hopes for, and whether the hope reaches past what they are willing to do. Make one promise now and keep it afterwards.

Guard the hips and thighs.

• Study or teach during these two days.
• During Mula, end something that is already finished inwardly.
• Make one promise small enough to keep.
