Jupiter Transit in Aquarius

Aquarius is Saturn's sign, and Saturn and Jupiter are neutral to each other in Parashara's table, so Jupiter is neither welcomed nor opposed here. The sign rules gains, groups, society, friends, elder siblings and ideals. For about a year Jupiter expands the person's place among others.

Income rises through networks, associations and shared ventures. Friends bring opportunities, and the person becomes a teacher within their circle. Causes and reforms attract Jupiter's support, which favours anyone who teaches many people or works through associations. Elder siblings prosper or need help, and often both.

The nakshatras are Dhanishta, Shatabhisha and Purva Bhadrapada. Shatabhisha, ruled by Rahu, is the middle third and favours healing, research and work done out of sight. Purva Bhadrapada is Jupiter's own nakshatra, and the end of the stay gives depth, austerity and spiritual insight.

Phaladeepika's favourable houses for Jupiter, the second, fifth, seventh, ninth and eleventh, fall to Capricorn, Libra, Leo, Gemini and Aries Moon signs. Cancer Moons have Jupiter in the eighth and Pisces Moons in the twelfth, where the year brings inner gain and outer cost. Aquarius Moons carry Jupiter in the first house and grow in standing, health and generosity. The lagna is read the same way.

Ideals are the test of this transit. Work done for a cause larger than oneself is where Jupiter in Aquarius opens doors.
