Ketu Transit in Vishakha

Vishakha belongs to Jupiter, a friend of Mars, so by the Kujavat rule Ketu is well received by the lord of the star. Indra and Agni share it as deities, and a triumphal arch or a potter's wheel is its symbol. Three padas lie in Libra, owned by Venus, who is neutral, and the fourth in Scorpio, Mars's own sign, where Ketu is at home.

Moving backward, Ketu enters through the Scorpio pada and spends most of the stay in Libra. Around seven months pass from the fourth pada to the first, sometimes in two visits when the true node runs direct. Rahu stands in Krittika for the first half and in Bharani for the second.

Purpose, ambition, the long pursuit of a goal and the fork where one road must be chosen are Vishakha's themes, and Ketu arrives after the victory. The arch is built, and the person walks through it and feels nothing. Goals held for years lose their charge. The energy that drove them turns to the question of what they were for.

Leo, Taurus and Sagittarius Moons receive Ketu in the third, sixth and eleventh during the Libra padas, the houses Phaladeepika names favourable. Libra Moons carry Ketu on the lagna and Rahu in the seventh; Aries Moons have the reverse. For the Scorpio pada, Virgo, Gemini and Capricorn Moons gain, Scorpio Moons carry Ketu on the lagna, and Taurus Moons hold Rahu there.

Ketu in Vishakha shows how much of a person's purpose was borrowed, and leaves them alone with the wish itself once the audience is gone.

The remedy is Ganesha and Om Kem Ketave Namah, with a lamp for Agni at dusk. The dana for Ketu, a blanket, sesame or food for dogs, goes on Tuesday. Choose one road, and walk it without announcing the choice.
