Moon Transit in Uttara Ashadha

Uttara Ashadha begins with one pada in Sagittarius and runs through three in Capricorn. The Sun rules it, the Vishvadevas, the all-gods, are its deities, and its symbol is an elephant's tusk or the planks of a bed. The Sun and the Moon are mutual friends, and the day carries their agreement. The last quarter of the nakshatra is Abhijit, the intercalary star that muhurta prizes above most others.
