Jupiter Transit in Chitra

Chitra is the bright jewel, the nakshatra of Tvashtar, the divine architect also called Vishvakarma. Mars rules it and is Jupiter's friend. Two padas lie in Virgo and two in Libra, and both sign lords, Mercury and Venus, are Jupiter's enemies, so the graha has a friend in the lord and enemies as sign lords.

Tvashtar builds, and Jupiter here builds in the world: a house, a temple, a body of work, a reputation. Architects, designers, jewellers and surgeons feel it directly. Children show talent that needs training.

The Virgo padas give craft and exactness. In the Libra padas beauty and the eye of others come in, and Jupiter in Venus's sign wants to be admired for its work.

For the Virgo padas, Leo, Taurus, Pisces, Capricorn and Scorpio Moons have Jupiter in Phaladeepika's favourable houses. For the Libra padas the houses fall to Virgo, Gemini, Aries, Aquarius and Sagittarius Moons. Libra Moons carry Jupiter in the first from the third pada, and Scorpio Moons have it in the twelfth. The lagna is counted the same way.

The transit shows what a person builds when given the means. Chitra puts tools into Jupiter's sense of purpose, and what gets made in these months shows the maker plainly.

Vishvakarma is served by clean tools and by craftsmen paid on time. Om Brihaspataye Namah on Thursday and Parashara's dana of yellow cloth, turmeric or gram are the Guru remedies. Finish one piece of work before showing it.
