What Jupiter in Revati nakshatra means

Revati is the last nakshatra, closing Pisces and the zodiac. Mercury is its lord, an enemy of Jupiter, and Pushan is its deity, the god who guards travellers and finds what is lost. The symbols are a fish and a drum. Jupiter is in its own sign and ends its twelve-year circuit of the nakshatras here.

Mercury's enmity shows as argument with the teaching. The person questions a guru, a scripture or a law, and Jupiter in its own sign answers with patience. The stay runs about four to five months, often split by the retrograde into two visits. Most of what the transit gives is completion.

Wealth comes in as settlements, inheritances and payments long due. Children finish a stage of education or leave home. A marriage is completed after delay, and Revati is among the nakshatras Muhurta Chintamani approves for marriage. Travel begins and, under Pushan, ends safely.

Aquarius, Scorpio, Virgo, Cancer and Taurus Moons and lagnas receive Jupiter in the second, fifth, seventh, ninth and eleventh. Pisces Moons hold a strong Jupiter in the first and close a chapter well. Aries, Sagittarius, Libra and Leo Moons, with the twelfth, fourth, sixth and eighth, should settle debts and not start a lawsuit.

Pushan is honoured by feeding travellers and by caring for cattle. Japa of Om Brihaspataye Namah on Thursday and Parashara's dana of yellow cloth, turmeric or gram support the graha. Give green moong on Wednesday for Mercury, and end a quarrel with a teacher before Jupiter enters Ashwini.

How a person ends things is the reading of Revati, and whether one's wisdom can let go with grace. Debts settled and quarrels ended are the outward form of that.
