What Jupiter in Jyeshtha nakshatra means
Jyeshtha means the eldest, and Indra, king of the gods, is its deity. The symbol is an earring or a royal umbrella. It lies at the end of Scorpio, Mars's sign, where Jupiter has a friend. Mercury rules the nakshatra, and Mercury is Jupiter's enemy, so the sign is kind and the lord contrary.
A stay runs about four to five months, and a retrograde often divides it into more than one visit. Jyeshtha gives seniority. The person is made responsible for elders, siblings or an organisation, and Jupiter brings the wisdom to carry it. Indra's umbrella is protection, and those under one's care are sheltered.
Mercury's rule brings cleverness into faith. Wealth comes by strategy, and a teacher's authority is questioned by a sharp student. Jupiter expands, and in Jyeshtha it can expand the sense of being the most senior and the most right.
