What Venus in Shravana nakshatra means
Vishnu presides over Shravana, the Moon's nakshatra in the middle of Capricorn, Saturn's sign. Its symbol is an ear, or the three footprints of Vamana. Parashara names the Moon an enemy of Venus and Saturn a friend, so the sign lord welcomes what the nakshatra lord does not. The result is a Venus that listens more than it speaks.
Hearing is the theme. Music, recitation, the learning of a text by ear, and the pleasure of a good conversation come forward. Wealth arrives through knowledge and through connections, and a reputation is built by what others hear of one. The stay is around eleven days.
Shravana is a chara nakshatra, and Muhurta Chintamani counts it fit for travel and for taking up a study. Counsel taken from a teacher in these days is well taken.
